There are a lot of things in life that you can lose. You can lose your keys, your home, a family member, a body part, your spouse or your work. The only thing nobody can take from you is knowledge. Why do companies put so much emphasis on earning a degree? Most professionals agree that, although some general knowledge was learned in college were most important skills learned in the workplace. Fifty years ago we had millions of business owners and investment banks without high school diploma who has done well. Corporations use the degree as a means of restricting competition. Imagine how crowded job market would be if access to all jobs were available to the entire population.

Some companies may take cue from sports teams and begin to recruit students in high school. Those individuals who are deemed worthy could choose not to receive a degree and go straight to work. Today, finding the talent is mostly due to the completion of a degree.

All theories aside, who wants to climb the ranks in the corporate world will need advanced training. Obtaining a degree is the best way to move forward in life. Get training Online or at a distance of several years is one of the best options for those not able to leave their workplace.
